Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and the individual developer who runs High Card Club ("we"). By opening and playing the game you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not play.

The game

High Card Club is a card game (Batak, Spades, Tarneeb, Baloot) played inside Discord as an Activity. It is free to play. We may change, add or remove games, scenes, decks and features.

Who may play

You need a Discord account and must meet Discord's minimum age, 13 or higher where local law says so. You also have to follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while you play.

Playing fair

• Do not cheat: no sharing hands with other players at the table, no scripts, bots or tools that play for you, and no exploiting bugs.
• Do not harass other players or use offensive names and avatars.
• Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

If a player breaks these rules we may take action, such as removing them from tables or leaderboards or stopping them from playing.

Bots

Some seats are played by the computer: when a table is filled with bots, and when a player leaves or stays away during a match. Bots are marked at the table. Matches with bots do not count for the leaderboards.

Leaderboards and your name

Finished matches between people count for weekly, monthly and all-time leaderboards, where other players see your Discord name and avatar. You can hide your name in the game under My data. Rankings are for fun and have no cash value.

Club, trials and purchases

Some scenes and decks belong to Club, a membership that is not on sale yet. Each Club scene or deck can be tried free for three days, once per player. A trial needs no payment and never turns into a paid membership; when it ends, the table goes back to the free scene or deck. When Club goes on sale, its price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms will be shown before you buy and added here. Paid purchases will need an adult or a parent's permission.

Our content

The game, its pictures, sounds and code belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may play and share invitations and screenshots, but not copy or resell the game or its content.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the game running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and a match may be lost to an outage. The game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law where you live.

Ending

You can stop playing at any time and delete your data in the game under My data (see the privacy policy). We may end the service with notice in the game.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in. Questions: [email protected].

We post changes here with a new date. For important changes we may also show a note in the game.
